Situated at the main entrance to Kingshurst shopping centre the Library is a bright and welcoming space for visitors of all ages. There is a dedicated children's area with resources and facilities for families, search the web for free in our computer corner, or let staff guide you to the range of facilities, resources and activities available at the library throughout the year.

Travelling to Kingshurst Library

Follow signs to Kingshurst - the Library is situated on Marston Drive at the main entrance to Kingshurst Shopping Centre.
Bus routes: 55, 71 and 26 all stop close by..
Parking: free front of the Library with disabled parking available.

  • Free Computer facilities (Internet, email and word processing) bookable by the hour.

  • Photocopying and fax service available

  • Daily Newspapers and Periodicals

  • Story sacks for loan to Childminders

  • Family Learning Boxes for loan , which include books, toys, activity sheets, story tapes and more0

  • Adult Talking Books for loan

  • Music CD's available for loan.

Regular Meetings and Events

  • Adult Readers Circle - meet last Monday of every month 2pm-3pm (Contact Pat Jones at the library)
  • Coffee Morning - every Friday 10.00am - 12.00am.
  • Local Councillors Advice Surgeries - held Saturdays once a fortnight 11.00am - 12.00. Please phone for dates
  • Children's Story Time - every Thursday morning 10.00am - 10.30am
  • Family Learning and Children's Activities - throughout the year ask staff for details
  • Neighbourhood Manager Surgeries - take place on the third Friday in each month 10.00 - 12.00.
