Front of Knowle Library

The library is located within Chester House, a 16th Century Elizabethan town house, parts of which date back to 1400, Enhanced by a knot Garden created by Solihull council in 1989 Which has regularly been judged as part of Solihull's 'Britain in Bloom'. The library aims to offer a wide range of books and resources, including a dedicated children's area with craft and story time sessions running throughout the year. Regular events also take place and the library is also host to Knowle Society Local History Centre.

Travelling to Knowle Library

From Solihull follow the signs to Knowle on the A41 Warwick Road going straight on at the island along Knowle High Street. The library is situated on the left-hand side.

Bus routes: 40C which stop close by.
Parking: Free next to the library.

Accessibility

Partial access for wheelchair users (due to nature of building), disabled Parking facility, adapted toilet, hearing loop, large print, taped books.
