Room Hire

Olton Library is a modern building and its staff aim to provide a welcoming and attractive environment for customers. There are 5 computers providing free Internet access, office packages and email. There is a dedicated children's area, books for teenagers, wide range of adult fiction and non-fiction, loan collections of spoken word and jigsaws, photocopier and a drinks machine. There is a meeting room, which can be hired for community and commercial use and is used by local councillors for monthly surgeries. Regular events throughout the year are Under 5s storytime sessions, Reader's Circle and Poetry Group.

Facilities

 

The modern, self-contained, first floor room provides seating for up to 16 people. The room can be cleared of furniture for exhibitions and displays. There is also space for small displays in the library itself.

Flip-chart, Wall-mounted projection screen and over head projector (by arrangement) are available for use, offering the ideal venue for regular meetings or AGMs.

Access

Easily accessible by car, rail or bus.  Unfortunately there is no disabled access to this room.

Catering

There are no kitchen facilities but crockery and cutlery are available if you wish to make your own catering arrangements or, cold buffets are available from the central library coffee lounge.  Coffee machine available in the library during opening hours.
