Search, Renew & Reserve Library Books, CDs and DVDs Online

Use the online library catalogue to find books, CDs, DVDs and audiobooks in Solihull Libraries, place reservations and renew items you have borrowed.

Searching the Library Catalogue

You can search the online library catalogue for items held by all Solihull Libraries. This includes books, CDs, DVDs and audiobooks. You can search for items by author, title and/or keyword, as well as location.

The results screen allows you to filter your results by library location, subject, year published and format.

Placing a reservation

You can place a reservation for any item online by clicking on the 'Reserve this item' link. You will be asked to enter your library card and PIN. There may be a charge for this service and you will be notified by phone or post when your item is available to collect.

Renew items you have borrowed

Within the online library catalogue, click on the 'My Account' tab along the top. You will then be asked to log in.

You can then use 'My Account' to:

• check a summary of items you have on loan
• renew items you have borrowed

How do I get access to the My Account feature?

You will need to have a library membership card and a PIN number. You can get your PIN number from a member of library staff. If you join the library you will be given this automatically. If you are already a library member just bring in your library card with an additional proof of identity.
