Information on how to search the library catalogue, renew library books and check availability.

Searching the Library Catalogue

You can search the online library catalogue for items held by Solihull libraries. You can search for items by author, title and/or keyword.

The results screen gives item location details and information about whether an item is available for loan. If it is not it will show when it is due for return.

Renew items you have borrowed

Within the online library catalogue, you can use My Account to:

• check a summary of items you have on loan
• renew items you have borrowed

How do I get access to the My Account feature?

To obtain this personal information you will need to have a library membership card and a PIN number. You can get your PIN number from a member of library staff. If you join the library you will be given this automatically. If you are already a library member just bring in your library card with an additional proof of identity.
