Door supervision licences

Information about Door supervision licences.

Anyone involved in door supervision whether under contract or employed in-house is required to register and obtain a licence from the Security Industry Authority (S.I.A.)

You will need a licence if you are responsible for and your duties include security, protection, screening the suitability of people entering or dealing with conflict in pubs, clubs and other licensed premises open to the public.

As from the 18th October 2004 it became a criminal offence for any person to work as a door supervisor without the appropriate licence. Any person found working without the appropriate licence shall be liable for prosecution.
