Keys

Keys is the borough top keyboard group who have twice won the instrumental class in the Solihull Festival. The minimum standard for entry is Grade 2 and requires a familiarity with ensemble playing and group improvising.

Over'crowded

This is the feeder group to Soul Matters (the Borough's premier Rock and Pop ensemble). Directed at young electric guitar/bass players and vocalists. Instrumentalists need to be around Grade 3 standard.

Solihull Youth Brass Band (SYBB)

SYBB is made up of pupils from across the Borough who are at Grade 2 standard and above. They perform regularly in Solihull and Birmingham, using repertoire that ranges from traditional brass band music to arrangements of film and popular music.

The Rookies

The new singing group for children in years 3 and 4, and a training choir for Songsquad.

Songsquad

This is the Borough's top choir. It has a reputation for quality singing, and has performed at the Royal Albert Hall, Symphony Hall and Warwick Arts Centre.

This Solihull's Premier jazz ensemble. Players are expected to be of a high standard, as they will be playing challenging music and be learning to improvise.
