  • Concerts
Concerts can provide the opportunity for pupils to hear live music in their school. These are generally in the form of Bigband (brass and woodwind), Guitar or String presentations.
  • Instrumental lessons at Music Centre
This service is available for pupils in independent schools, maintained schools and adults of all ages. Teaching will take place for 33 weeks in a year at a choice of area music centres. The choice of tuition and type of lesson will depend on staff availability.
  • Residential Courses
The Music Service provides an opportunity for schools and emsembles to participate in residential music courses.
  • Workshop
The Music Service offers an opportunity for children at all levels (including beginners) to play in groups with pupils of a similar standard. Separate workshops are held annually for string, brass, woodwind and guitar players.
