Over 60 teachers from the Solihull Music Service currently offer tuition to 4,000 pupils of all ages. Children receive further musical support in schools. SYMSA provides a driving force to ensure that this situation is maintained, and our aim is that it should be available to all school children.

We are here to support all the music groups in the Borough and all their potential members. We give physical and financial support through:

  • Publicity
  • Practical support at concerts selling programmes & tickets, moving furniture and providing refreshments
  • Music purchase
  • Instruments
  • Maintaining a high profile for music within the Borough

What can you do to help?

If you are a parent or friend and would like to support music for the young people of Solihull, then come and join us.

Support the youngsters at their concerts.

All families who have young musicians in the Borough's music groups are automatically members of SYMSA.

You are invited to support us with a small donation - £5 is recommended - and possibly help the volunteers serve refreshments at rehearsals or at concerts.

You can contact SYMSA at:
