Council launches new look website
From Press Office on 22 November 2007
Solihull Council has launched its brand new website. It's better looking, easier to use and now residents can do even more online.
The Council website is very well used: last year, it had over 5million visits. But feedback suggested that people had difficulty finding their way around it.
The new site features simpler navigation and a google search engine, making it much easier to find what you're looking for. A major change will be that the site has several different routes in, recognising that different users have different interests. So people will be able to click on a tab from the home page that will take them straight to the section of the website that best meets their needs: Council services; Business; Visiting and Leisure Time; News.
There is also a simplified A to Z guide to Council Services and much more advanced online forms making it easier for you to do even more business with us online.
From checking out what's on at the Arts Complex, paying your Council tax bill or submitting a planning application: Do it online at http://www.solihull.gov.uk/.
