Dorridge Junior School will be taking part in a balloon launch at Knowle library on Friday 16th May at 11.30am. Children from class 5J will be adding postcards with their name and favourite book to balloons and releasing them outside the library to kick off the celebrations. Then on Saturday 17th May join library staff for a Balloon Modelling Workshop, 11am - 12pm. This event is suitable for children aged 5+ and entrance is by refundable 50p ticket available in advance from the library.
Visitors can also try their hand at a new hobby - Scrapbooking later in the day from 2pm - 3.15pm where staff can show you how to share your photographs in an interesting way. Bring along some photographs, all other materials will be provided. This event is suitable for adults and children aged 7+. Entrance is by refundable 50p ticket available in advance from the library.
