Summer Bat Walks

Solihull Council is hosting a free wildlife experience this summer, giving the whole family a chance to learn more about our local bat population.
Everyone is welcome to join our Park Rangers and local experts at various parks across the borough for guided evening tours.
You can track down and listen to these fascinating creatures in the dark by using detectors and learn all about how they live In their natural environment.
If you would like to attend our Bat Walks, you can do so by meeting the Park Rangers at the following venues to begin the discovery talk:
Bat Walk at Brueton Park: Thursday 31st July, 8:30pm-10pm
Bat Walk at Babbs Mill Local Nature Reserve: Boat House car Park, Thursday 21st August, 8:30pm-10pm.
Bat Walk at Elmdom Park: Tanhouse Farm Road entrance, Thursday 28th August, 8:30pm-10pm
You are advised to wear comfortable walking shoes and warm clothing.
