Solihull Nurseries up to the challenge
From Press Office on 19 September 2008
This year’s theme for Children’s Book Week is Rhythm and Rhyme and to celebrate, Solihull Council is setting a fun challenge to children across the borough.
All nurseries in Solihull have been set a challenge to teach their children at least 10 rhymes or songs in time for the week long event, which runs from the 6th-12th October.
Children attending Story or Rhyme Times at Solihull Libraries during Children’s Book Week are also getting involved and will receive a special certificate to mark their achievement.
Nurseries can find out what activities are running at their local library by visiting, www.solihull.gov.uk/libraries/locallibrary.htm.
