Family history brought to life

From Press Office on 23 September 2008

Solihull Arts Complex is delighted to host The Family Line – Phase 2, a new exhibition on the theme of Art and Genealogy in the G1 Main Gallery on the first floor from 13 October to 15 November.

The original Art and Genealogy collection was first shown at Rugby gallery, but Eric has further developed his work.  It now consists of paintings, prints, paper models, colour-relief and typography.  Eric is interested in the relationship between colour and form.  This relationship is as important to his work as the relations between families.

Those interested in either Eric's abstract work or genealogy or family history are invited to attend the private view of this exhibition at 6pm on 16 October or the exhibition proper at any time during Central Library opening hours.  Entry to the exhibition is free.

For details of this or other exhibitions at Solihull Central Library & Arts Complex, contact Aimee Green on 0121 704 8349.
