Are you sitting comfortably..?

From Press office on 24 November 2009

Children across the borough are being invited to pull up a chair and listen to a story, with a series of story telling events in the borough's libraries.

Story teller Sally Tonge will be enchanting under-fives with some Autumn Tales, which are full of songs, rhymes and tales that will have everybody joining in.

Listening to stories and nursery rhymes isn’t just entertaining for your child, but also a great way to boost their speech and language development.

The Autumn Tales event is a chance to pick up your child’s Bookstart pack, which is available for children at 9 months, 2 years and 3-4 years. There are additional packs for those in a dual language family and also for children with visual impairments. The Bookstart pack is also available for download from; www.solihull.gov.uk/libraries/bookstart.htm

Autumn Tales will take place at;

Kingshurst Library – Friday 27th November 10am to 11.am
Hobs Moats Library – Friday 27th November 11.30am to 12.30pm
