Join Solihull’s Jobs Fair
From Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Regeneration, Councillor Ian Courts on 03 March 2010
Solihull Council and Mell Square are inviting local businesses and recruitment agencies to take part in Solihull’s first town centre Jobs Fair on Wednesday 31 March in Mell Square.
This is a great opportunity for businesses to promote, free of charge, their current and future job opportunities and advise potential applicants on what they would be looking for in applications.
The aim of the Jobs Fair is to help those unemployed get into work as well as providing advice to anyone considering a career change. A large number of employees are expected at the event taking place between 11am-2.30pm on Wednesday 31 March.
Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Regeneration, Councillor Ian Courts said: “Unemployment in the borough is currently high, so this is a perfect time to hold the first Solihull Jobs Fair. We already have a number of businesses, alongside the Council, who will be promoting job opportunities. If you currently have jobs open, or expect to have some in the near future, this is a great way to promote your business and meet a wide range of potential employees."
