Let’s Dance

Solihull residents are being encouraged to get their dance shoes ready as the Arts Complex’s dance classes are back.
The diverse programme of weekly dance classes are a chance for children and adults to have fun, get some exercise and meet friends.
Never too young to start to dance, Wiggle and Giggle is a popular dance class for children aged 4-7. From 13 September, classes will run every Monday, 4pm-5pm and cost £3.50 each time.
For 8-11 year olds, there is Aspire dance class running every Wednesday, 4pm-5pm, from 8 September. This fun and creative class covers a range of dance styles. Classes cost £3.50 each.
Boys, aged 8-11, who fancy something a little more fast-paced and physical should join Urban Warriors. Inspired by Britain’s Got Talent winners Diversity, this dance class allows participants to improve their dance and movement skills. Starting 8 September, the classes are on every Wednesday, 5pm-6pm and costs £3.50 a class.
Something especially for over 50s will be taking place every Wednesday, 2pm-3pm. Stepping Out is a fun and friendly introduction to dance. Participants will learn a range of dance styles from across the world and eras. The class have already started but participants can join at anytime. Classes cost £3.00 each.
Participants don’t have to have dance experience as there will be a professional dance teacher on hand to help them master their steps, twists and turns.
