Dog fouling lands woman in court

A Solihull woman has been ordered to pay over £800 for not cleaning up after her dog.
On Wednesday 5 January 2011 at Solihull Magistrates Court, Miss Tammie Annabella Jukes, aged 27, of 77 Bangor House, Forth Drive, Chelmsley Wood was found guilty of failing to remove dog foul from the council land around Bangor House.
A Solihull Community Housing anti-social behaviour officer witnessed Miss Jukes allowing her dog to foul on the land on 2 June 2010. She was offered the opportunity to pay a fixed penalty of £75, however when she failed to pay, legal action was instigated.
She was fined £350, £15 victim surcharge and required to pay court costs of £492.75.
Miss Jukes did not attend court.
