Family fun day!
From Councillor Joe Tildesley, Cabinet Member for Children and Young People on 31 August 2011
Local families with children under five are invited to a summer fun day at Langley Children’s Centre on Friday 2 September.
The children’s centre, run by Solihull Council, will be hosting a variety of fun activities including a bouncy castle, entertainer, face paints and special guest appearances! There will also be a BBQ, ice-cream van and chocolate fountain to keep the hunger pains at bay.
The fun kicks off at 12.30pm and runs until 2.30pm. The day will cost just £2 per family; refreshments are extra.
Councillor Joe Tildesley, Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, said: “This is a great opportunity for families to have some fun and find out what the children’s centre can offer them all year round. As well as mums and dads, grandparents and foster carers are also welcome”.
