People from across the borough are invited to try out sports and activities at ‘Active for Life’.
This event takes place on Wednesday 17 May between 10am and 2pm at Tudor Grange Leisure Centre and aims to help residents aged 45 and over get back into a sport or activity they used to do, find out about local opportunities to be active and try new ways of exercising.
There will be a variety of taster sessions including walking netball, walking football, touch tennis, table tennis, badminton, zumba, yoga, swimming, aqua-fit and Nordic walking as well as a chance to learn how to use gym equipment.
This is a free event but booking is required. Those wishing to take part can book individual activity sessions by calling 0121 705 6371 or by visiting www.solihullactive.co.uk/active-for-life/ and completing the online form.
