Fitness suites to benefit from refurbishment

Publish date:Monday, July 2, 2018

Fitness suites at North Solihull Sports Centre and Tudor Grange Leisure Centre are set to benefit from a major upgrade following investment from Everyone Active.

The redevelopment forms part of Everyone Active’s £1million investment into providing improved leisure facilities to the local community and will see state-of-the-art fitness equipment installed to enhance customer’s experience and encourage residents to be more active.

As well as replacing existing equipment there will be new additions to include an Omnia functional training rig that houses a vast range of activities, skillrow rowing machine, free weights and resistance training equipment.

Wayne Desmond, contract manager at Everyone Active, said:  “As the longest established leisure and sports operator, our goal is to encourage people to be more active and we hope that the redevelopment will offer a wide range of activities for the local community. “Re-investment is one of our core principles and we hope that the new facilities on offer will inspire local people to lead a healthier and more active lifestyle.”

Both centres, other than the gyms, will remain open during the upgrade. The fitness suite will be closed at North Solihull from 16 – 20 July, and Tudor Grange from 23 – 27 July. Members are able to use their nearest Everyone Active centre during this time.
