Solihull Parents' Forum
What is the Parents’ Forum?
The Parents’ Forum is a group of parents and carers who have children of various ages and come from all parts of Solihull. They are all interested in making a difference
What does the Parents’ Forum do?
The Parents’ Forum meets the third Thursday of every month from 7.30pm until 9pm to talk about things like;
- Keeping children healthy and safe
- Schools and learning
- Things to do and places to go
- Support for parents and carers
- How to make sure all parents are involved in making important decisions about services for children and young people in Solihull
There is also a forum for parents who have a child with an additional need or disability. This group is called Solihull CAN (Children with Additional Needs). This group meets on the second Thursday of the month, 7.30pm-9pm and aims to influence decisions that are made about services for children with additional needs and/or disabilities
Why is it important to get involved?
By getting involved in decisions, you will have the opportunity to improve things near where you live. If you are interested in sharing your views, this is your chance to have them heard so that they really make a difference
