Location: Chelmsley Wood, off Bushbury Croft

Colebank Park was designated a Local Nature Reserve in 2002. It is an attractive area for walking, lies adjacent to the River Cole and due to its sheltered location provides a natural habitat for flora and fauna. There is a circular river walk, part of the Solihull Way, which is ideal for an afternoon stroll. Stepping stones take you across the river on your walking adventure and enable local community groups and schools to gain easier access to ponds and wetlands for nature studies.

The park is currently in the process of gaining location nature reserve status which will help preserve the park well into the future.

A recent project has been the installation of new stepping stones to link the paths up. The benefits to local residents and groups is great too, making pond dipping and river studies possible.
