Green Flag Parks
In 2012 Solihull was awarded 10 Green Flags for our Parks. Awarded by Keep Britain Tidy, the flags are seen as the gold standard for public spaces that are welcoming, safe and well maintained. It is also seen as a way of encouraging others to achieve high environmental standards, setting a benchmark of excellence in recreational green areas.
