Draft Local Validation Criteria Consultation

The Local Validation Criteria consultation period has now closed. Once the Local Validation Criteria has been formally adopted, links to the new application form with specific guidance to application types will be published online. Guidance on each of the adopted Local Validation Criteria will be published on our website and will also be linked from the Planning Portals online application page.

The Government is also making arrangements for planning application fees to be increased from 6th April 2008. Parliamentary approval is currently being sought for this. You can preview which fees are set to rise in the New Fees document found in attachments on the right.
