Information about air quality in solihull
11. Recommendations
Since air quality in Solihull is expected to meet all the targets in the National Air Quality Strategy without the need for any additional intervention from the local authority, no Air Quality Management Areas need to be declared in Solihull under the Environment Act 1995.
Monitoring work should continue in Solihull and in the other West Midlands metropolitan authorities.
A second review and assessment of air quality should be carried out for the whole Borough by the end of 2003.
