Operational Commissioning Statement - Commissioning for Best Care Value -Community Care and Support Services for Adults 2005 - 2008
Operational commissioning is about the best use of resources (time, money, people and premises) to procure services of the appropriate quality in order to meet the identified/assessed needs of people for community care and support services consistent with deliverable user/carer choice.This Strategy sets out how we will approach the operational commissioning of these services to discharge our statutory responsibilities towards adults.
