Nature Conservation Strategy
The purpose of nature conservation in Solihull is:
- To ensure that the importance of the natural environment is recognised, and policy and legal requirements are complied with;
- To provide a framework of existing and proposed biodiversity initiatives; and
- To encourage partnerships with local communities, businesses and voluntary organisations to restore and enhance biodiversity
This strategy aims to protect, manage and enhance Solihull's natural environment for the benefit of wildlife and people.
