Policy on Assistance to Owners of Private Housing

The Council has a role in supporting home owners and private landlords to deal with substantial disrepair, and to make home adaptations to enable residents with impairments and disabilities to continue to live safely in their own homes.

The Policy on Assistance to Owners of Private Housing sets out the range of assistance which is provided by the Council to private homeowners to repair, improve or adapt their homes.

This version was approved by Cabinet and published in September 2011.
