On-line press office
About Us
Solihull Council's Press Office deal with around 900 media enquiries a year, and sends out 460 press releases and photocalls. We deal with all media queries for the Council, on a variety of subjects. We service local, regional and national newspapers, as well as local, regional and national television and radio stations.
The Press Office is staffed by experienced Communication professionals, the majority of whom are former journalists. There are staff available outside of office hours to deal with major issues.
As well as dealing with media enquiries, we also provide professional help and advice to senior officer and councillors.
