How we will use your information
We will use the personal details to contact the person making the nomination and the person they have nominated if necessary, and to contact the winners.
Who else it will be shared with
The Communications team and the Mayor’s support staff and the Partnership Administrative Officer will have access to the information. It will also be shared with the judging panel, which will include Councillors.
How long it will be kept
Details will be kept until the middle of May 2011 when the competition winners will be announced.
How we will ensure it is accurate
If necessary we will check the accuracy of personal details supplied by contacting the person who has filled in the form.
How we will safeguard it
Print outs of the completed forms will be held in a locked cupboard.
The electronic version will be held on computer databases and email that can only be accessed by authorised members of Council staff. Access to the Council’s systems is via password control.
All staff undergo training and understand the importance of data protection.
