How we will use your information
The information you supply will be used to assemble a project loan of suitable items and to monitor borrowing and return of project loans. It will also be used in anonymous form to analyse frequency and types of loans requested so that the Learning Resources and Advice Service can consider how best to satisfy the needs of schools.
Who else it will be shared with
Your information will not be routinely shared with any other Council divisions or external organisations.
How long it will be kept
The information you submit will not be kept for any longer than is needed. The length of time will depend upon whether the Council has a business need for keeping the information and/or if the law requires that we keep the information for a particular length of time.
Your information will normally be kept for two calendar years. It will definitely be retained throughout the academic year in which you use the project loans service.
How we will ensure it is accurate
When Council staff contact you about your project loan they will ask you to confirm your details, if necessary.
How we will safeguard it
The information will be kept in a secure office environment. It will be held on computer databases that can only be accessed by authorised members of Council staff.
