Your information will be held by the Registration Service and the Solihull Connect Contact Centre who can be contacted on tel 0121 704 8000 or on email connectcc@solihull.gov.uk.
How we will use your information
Your personal details will be used to contact you to arrange for you to give notice and book the ceremony.
The personal information that you provide will also be used to help the Council deal with your enquiry and may be used by other Council divisions and partner organisations to help make sure that records about you are kept up to date.
Your personal details e.g. name, address, telephone number, email, will be checked against any personal details that we may already hold on CRM. We will update CRM if there are any changes.
Who else it will be shared with
Your personal information may be shared with other Council services and partner organisations to ensure our records are kept accurate and help us to identify services you may be entitled to or interested in.
How long it will be kept
The information you submit will not be kept for any longer than is needed. The length of time will depend upon whether the Council has a business need for keeping the information and/or if the law requires that we keep the information for a particular length of time.
The booking form will be kept for up to 3 years.
How we will ensure it is accurate
When you give Notice of Marriage/Civil Partnership you will be asked to provide proof of identity, which will be used to confirm the personal details you have supplied.
How we will safeguard it
The information will be kept in a secure office environment. It will be held on computer databases that can only be accessed by authorised members of Council staff.
