This is the privacy statement for the Report pigeon droppings form.

Your information will be kept by the Solihull Connect Contact Centre who can be contacted on tel: 0121 704 8000 or by emailing: connectcc@solihull.gov.uk. It will then be passed to Transport, Highways and Environment to deal with your request.
How we will use your information
The information that you provide will be used to arrange for the Council's contractor Enterprise PLC to remove the discarded sharp objects. You may be contacted after your request has been dealt with to check if you were satisfied with the service provided.
Your personal data may be shared with other Council services and partner organisations to ensure our records are kept accurate and to help us to identify services you may be entitled to or interested in.
Who else it will be shared with
The details of the request will be passed to Enterprise PLC if applicable.
How long it will be kept
The information you submit will not be kept for any longer than is needed. The length of time will depend upon whether the Council has a business need for keeping the information and/or if the law requires that we keep the information for a particular length of time.
The information will also be retained on the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for 5 years so that we can monitor customer contact trends and plan for the future.
How we will ensure it is accurate
Council staff will contact you to ask you to confirm your information if necessary to ensure its accuracy.
The information captured by the Contact Service and recorded on CRM will be compared with other CRM system links into the Council's other systems to ensure that information is accurate. To help keep our records up to date when customers contact the contact service the information that we hold on CRM will be confirmed and changed as required. These changes will be passed to the Information Management Team who will co-ordinate the amendment of other Council systems.
How we will safeguard it
The information will be kept in a secure office environment. It will be held on computer databases that can only be accessed by authorised members of Council staff.
All staff undergo training and understand the importance of data protection. Access to Council's systems is via password control so that only people who need to access your information in order to provide Council services are able to.
