The information you submit will be held by the press office who can be contacted on telephone 0121 704 6136 and email pressoffice@solihull.gov.uk.

Your personal details will be used to acknowledge and answer your enquiry or send you information.
Who else it will be shared with
Your personal details will not routinely be shared with other Council divisions or external organisations, unless it is necessary to do so to answer your enquiry.
How long it will be kept
The information you submit will not be kept for any longer than is needed. The length of time will depend upon whether the Council has a business need for keeping the information and/or if the law requires that we keep the information for a particular length of time.
We usually keep details of enquiries for 2 years so that we can monitor trends and keep a record of our responses. However it may be kept longer than that if necessary. For example press enquiries about a major emergency could be kept permanently as records of major incidents are have to be archived.
How we will ensure it is accurate
When we contact you about your enquiry we may double check your details if necessary.
How we will safeguard it
The information will be kept in a secure office environment. Within that it will be kept in a lockable cabinet that can only be accessed by authorised members of the Communications team.
