Psychological Assessment and Intervention

Psychology is about the relationship between thoughts, feeling and behaviour.  Educational Psychologists use their knowledge of psychology to improve or optimise the learning and development of children and young people.

Psychological assessment is a cyclical process whereby information is gathered regarding a problem or issue.   Assessment informs intervention and involves moving through a number of stages.  Information about the response to intervention will inform future assessment.
