Educational Psychologists are:

  • Producing guidance on making decisions and tailoring support where there are concerns about children's progress due to English as an Additional Language and Special Educational Needs.
  • Delivering training for school staff relating to the National Strategy for Behaviour and Attendance Project (NPSLBA).
  • Collecting data for research on Unaccompanied Asylum Seeker Children (UASC) resilience.
  • Planning a programme for training the Designated Teachers for Looked after Children in schools.
  • Collecting data about parent and teacher communication with respect to a child's literacy development.
  • Finding out about the social and emotional experiences parents encounter when trying to support their child who is struggling with literacy.

  • On the road to the PRU - parents have their say. A story about an educational psychologist completing research which looked at how included parents were made to feel in the process before their child started to attend a local Pupil Referral Unit (PRU).
