What Happens Next?

The proposals being consulted are at present draft. The Council and their Officers will review the questionnaires received and consider everyone’s views before deciding how to progress with the scheme. Please note that Officers will be unable to reply to individual written enquiries, however all views received will be considered.

At the same time as this consultation we will also be formally consulting on the locations of the proposed road humps and on the proposed waiting/ parking restrictions as part of these draft proposals. This will help us to report the results of the questionnaires and the statutory consultation at the same time to Councillors.

The final scheme proposals may change from those consulted depending on the results of this consultation and to ensure the final proposals are within the available funding for the project. Any changes we make to the draft proposals will be reported to Councillors  at a Cabinet Meeting on 3rd June 2010. If the scheme is approved, we will aim to carry out the works later this year.

If you have any questions about this consultation, please contact Taj Chaggar on (0121) 704 6433 or email: tchaggar@solihull.gov.uk.
