Our award winning school meals in Solihull have never tasted better and we are proud to offer pupils across the borough a great range of delicious, healthy meals, using locally sourced, high quality ingredients.
We do not serve fizzy drinks or chocolate bars and do not serve fried foods more than twice a week.
Primary school meals
Primary school pupils get a choice of two main courses, a vegetarian option, a salad bar, jacket potatoes and a choice of breads. We also offer a dessert, yogurt, fresh fruit or a selection of dried fruit.
A 2 course primary school meal currently costs £2.05. Parents can choose to pay weekly, half-termly or termly and most schools can now accept payments online.
You can download the current menu to see the choices on offer.
A new menu will be introduced on Monday 1 May 2017.
Secondary school meals
Pupils get a choice between a fixed-price 2 course meal and a cafeteria service offering a wide variety of snacks, vegetarian meals and other dishes, including salad bars and jacket potatoes.
A 2 course secondary school meal currently costs £2.15, but items are also individually priced for students who want to make their own choice each day. All Solihull secondary schools operate a cashless system, which allows pupils to top up their accounts at terminals in their school. Most schools also offer the option to pay online.
