Current Charges

The Learning Resources and Advice Service provides quality resources and advice for primary, secondary and special schools including books, artefacts, posters, textiles and help for librarians and teachers with professional and service development.

INDIVIDUAL LOANS – PAY AS YOU GO
Loan per item (Book, DVD, video, textile, poster, teacher’s pack, big book) £2.40
Loan per Artefact box & Story bag £4.30

PLAYGROUPS ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION
30 Loan items £46.00 unit cost £1.54

SCHOOLS ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION

Our standard packages are listed below but we are happy to discuss other options and provide a package to suit your school’s individual needs.

150 Loan items £327.00 unit cost £2.18
240 Loan items £492.00 unit cost £2.05
420 Loan items £840.00 unit cost £2.00
600 Loan items £1,164.00 unit cost £1.94

Your subscription includes two hours free advice on site – topics include Ofsted preparation, self-evaluation, information skills, stock management and stock audit.

Resources are changed each term and the price includes delivery and collection to one point on your site.

BLOCK LOANS
A tailored collection drawn from fiction, poetry and popular, non-curriculum information resources loaned for one year.

Charges are as above but your school only pays for one term and gets two terms loaned for free.

ADVICE AND HELP IN SCHOOL
Initial 30 minute planning visit is free, subsequent visits are £34.70 per hour.

DISPLAY SERVICE
We can offer this for a special event or Ofsted, prices and details are
available on request.

BOOK PURCHASE
Buy your library stock through our service and receive a discount on the recommended price.
Subscribers 25%
Non-subscribers 20%
