The Learning Resources and Advice Service provides quality resources and advice for primary, secondary and special schools including books, artefacts, posters, textiles and help for librarians and teachers with professional and service development.

Boys into Books Conference

Literacy co-ordinators, Teachers, School Librarians with a responsibility for broadening and developing students reading

This conference will feature a guest appearance by internationally acclaimed author Morris Gleitzman and will look at the differences in boys reading, how to succeed with boys reading groups, reading recovery schemes. The conference is a partnership between Solihull, Coventry and Warwickshire School Library Services.

Art of Effective Display - Demonstration by The Alternative Display Company

A very practical hands-on course packed full of wonderful ideas to create visually exciting displays in minutes, using cheap and readily available materials that will transfer to a wide range of display opportunities. You will discover simple and effective solutions to make learning environments exciting and interactive.
