Two Shopmobility schemes operate in the Solihull area:
- Solihull Town Centre - located in Solihull town centre and managed by Touchwood
- Shirley - located at Shirley Library Shirley and managed by Solihull Council

Shopmobility hire is open:
- Monday to Wednesday: 9.30am - 4.30pm
- Thursday: 09.30am - 7.00pm
- Friday: 09.30am - 4.30pm
- Saturday: 9.00am - 5.00pm
- Sunday: 11.00am - 4.00pm
Please note that standard parking fees apply from time of entry to the Touchwood Car Park.

The Shopmobility Service
We offer manual and electric wheelchairs and motorised scooters to help you shop in Solihull town centre. Members are entitled to use Birmingham Shopmobility facilities, and to hire lightweight and collapsible wheelchairs.
Radar keys are available from the Touchwood Information Desk.
How much does it cost?
The service is free for all users, with no membership or hire fee required, although users will be asked to register.
How to register
When registering please bring 2 items with you for proof of identity, showing your name and address (driving licence, up to date utility bill, pension book etc).
Using the service
To book equipment in advance please call 0121 709 6900 (please select option 2) or email email@example.com.
When you arrive, you’ll be shown how to use the equipment safely.
Ring and Ride users will be taken to the turning circle in Manor Square at the rear of Touchwood where their equipment will be brought to them. Customers are advised to book in advance to ensure they can take advantage of this service.
Touchwood does not offer an overnight/ holiday equipment hire service - this is available from Capitol Mobility at Vulcan Industrial Estate off Lode Lane (0121 705 5255).
