Traffic Island Sponsorship

We launched a new and exciting sponsorship scheme earlier this year, for 30 traffic islands in the Borough, with an external partner company. The scheme is working well and we hope to be able to introduce new and exciting projects as a result. Companies can sponsor an island for a full year and in return they have a number of sponsor signs on their chosen island.

There are also sponsors who provide vital funding to help initiatives and activities such as bulb planting and events to take place. This is done in the form of traffic island sponsorship or hanging basket schemes.

Sponsor a Traffic Island

Your company presence on one of our high quality floral traffic islands is an ideal way to help fund the various community projects, which make up Solihull in Bloom. There are over 60 prestigious sites to choose from and your sponsorship is for a one year period inclusive of the sign production, installation and maintenance as well as press opportunities throughout the year.

Floral 3D features

The 3D shaped shrub sculptures always amaze people passing by and are a prime sponsorship opportunity for a large or small business. There are two features, one currently sited in Solihull Town Centre and one on a large traffic island on a prime route into Solihull, near Chelmsley Wood.

Other Opportunities

There are always other interesting projects ideal for sponsorship and we can accommodate your suggestions as well, for example, sponsorship of newspaper adverts, the judging portfolio or a key activity in which local people get involved.
