Specialist holiday schemes for children with disabilities

If your child has an additional need or disability there are a number of specialist schemes they can enjoy during the summer holidays with activities like swimming, trampolining and trips out.

There are also a variety of Ofsted registered holiday schemes if you are looking for childcare.

Ofsted is the agency responsible for inspecting and regulating childcare activities, making sure they are safe for children.

For family fun days out all year round see our Family Days Out Booklet, it has things like farm parks, zoos and museums.

We will update the activities throughout the summer to make sure that you have the latest information - look out for the stars against the activities. We will let you know when we have updated them through the Parents' Network.

Activities for teenagers

Solihull's Youth and Community Service offers lots of activities for young people aged 13 to 19 and for young people up to 25 with a disability.  See their youth summer activities guide.
