The Core is Solihull’s flagship community building.
Toilet refurbishment works
From Wednesday 16 August 2017, refurbishment work will start on the toilets in The Core. This will take place in phases, beginning on the ground floor.
Signage across the building will indicate which toilets are available for customers to use. Please look out for these signs when visiting, or ask a member of staff for more information.
Please note, the baby change facilities will be open throughout the duration of the refurbishment.
It’s home to a library, theatre and café bars (Encore and Ovations), Solihull Connect, heritage and courtyard galleries, a Community Advice Hub and a number of voluntary and community sector organisations.
You will be able to get a range of information and advice, all in one central location.

Being home to several different activities there are different operating hours for each service. Although the building opens at 9.00am from Monday to Saturday, operating hours for each service vary. Relevant operating hours can be found by following the links below:
The Core houses a Changing Places toilet, located on the ground floor.
Thousands of people with profound and multiple learning disabilities, as well other disabilities that severely limit mobility, cannot use standard accessible toilets.
This facility enables people with disabilities to use the toilets safely and comfortably, and enjoy days out with their carers, assistants and families.
