Experimental Traffic Regulation Orders

These are used to see if a potential set of restrictions could work in practice before being made on a more permanent basis.

They can be made for up to 18 months and there is an opportunity for the public to object. The Council must follow a stringent set of procedures when consulting on an experimental TRO before eventually seeking to make it permanent.

There are currently no Experimental TRO's operational within Solihull.
