Mell Square changing to Pay and Display
On 1st February 2012 Mell Square car park will be come a pay and display car park. This is due to the pay of foot machines being vandalised several times in the last few months.
You will now be able to pay by cash, credit or debit cares and be able to top up your parking stay via your mobile phone. The number of pay stations will increase to 12.
It is hoped this will help alleviate congestion at entrances and exits.
Blue Badge holders will be able to use the extensive Blue Badge Parking facilities free of charge.
Civil Parking Enforcement Officers will be patrolling the car park to provide extra security.
