You will need to purchase the right amount of parking on arrival and you will need to have some change ready. If you do not have change available you will be allowed 20 minutes to go and get some, and you will also be given 20 minutes grace time if you are late getting back to your car. If you decide to stay long you can use the MiPermit pay by phone system to extend you stay.

Credit, debit and top up cards payments will be available in the coming months.
We have increased the number of pay stations up to 12.
It is hoped this will help alleviate congestion at entrances and exits.
Blue Badge holders will be able to use the extensive Blue Badge Parking facilities free of charge.
Civil Parking Enforcement Officers will be patrolling the car park to provide extra security.
Lode Lane Pay & Display Trial
What are we doing?
Following on from the Pay and Display trial in Mell Square Car Park, in April 2013, we are proposing to introduce a P&D system to Lode Lane car park.
The current Pay on Foot barriers in the car park will be removed, and P&D machines will be installed.
The machines will accept credit card payments and a new Pay by Phone system that works in conjunction with the P&D machines will be introduced in the car park.
This will provide customers with a variety of improved payment methods.
The trial is set to run for three months over the spring and summer of 2013. If deemed successful, consideration will be given to permanently using P&D in this car park.
This decision will be made by the Council in September 2013.
Blue Badge Holders will be able to park for free in any space within the car park as long as they display their Blue Badge. There is no time limit imposed on their stay.
