  • Animals - dead
    The Council provides a free service for the removal of dead animals from all public accessible areas.
  • Discarded syringes or needles
    Information about discarded sharps or needlesticks (syringes) and what to do if you find them.
  • Dog Fouling
    Information on dog fouling and how to act as a responsible dog owner.
  • Flyposting
    Fly posters are simply advertisements that are displayed on highway land contrary to the Highways Act 1980, and the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, or on private land contrary to the 1990 Act.
  • Flytipping
    Information about fly tipping and how to report a problem.
  • Graffiti
    Information on Graffiti and how to get it removed.
  • Grass cutting
    We cut grass to ensure people can use roads and pavements safely. Although environmental issues are of paramount concern, grass cutting is actually carried out for highway safety reasons rather than environmental purposes.
  • Hedges and Shrubs

    We have begun our winter works programme and are working the way around the borough reducing all the hedges and shrubs.

  • Leaf Fall Clearance

    Every autumn Solihull Council and its contractor Enterprise work hard to help clear the large quantity of leaves that fall from the trees.
