The following data tools and websites are useful sources of a range of local, regional and national data and intelligence.

RightCare produces a range of resources including data packs, toolkits and patient scenarios. They are developed in close collaboration with expert stakeholders such as national clinical leaders, service user and public representative groups, third sector organisations, and other key stakeholders such as the Getting It Right First Time programme (GIRFT) and NICE.

Nomis is a service provided by Office for National Statistics (ONS), the UK’s largest independent producer of official statistics. Nomis contains data and statistics relating to population, society and the labour market at national, regional and local levels.

The national website for open data about crime and policing in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. You can download street-level crime, outcome and stop and search data, detailed crime data and information about individual police forces and neighbourhood teams as well as data on police activity, arrests and 101 call handling.

An interactive spreadsheet for comparing data about children an young people across all local authorities in England.

Mapping tool allowing users to explore the range of 2015 and 2019 indices of deprivation data and search local areas by name and postcode.

The Government has established a network of seven independent What Works Centres with the aim of providing the best evidence of ‘what works’ for public services decision-makers. The table below provides a link to the seven individual centres.
