The Mayor, Councillors and Officers of Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council are deeply saddened at the news of the death of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

Our thoughts are with the Royal Family at this time.

The Union Flag outside of the Council House will fly at half-mast until 8am on Sunday 18 April.

Civic Service - Friday 16 April

A Civic Service in commemoration of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, is taking place at St Alphege Church on Friday 16 April at 7:30pm.

This is being conducted within strict Covid-19 guidelines and with reduced numbers. Attendees will include The Mayor of Solihull, Councillor Stuart Davis, accompanied by the Deputy Lieutenant, and Solihull Council Chief Executive, Nick Page. Please note no additional congregation places are available.
