Saturday 10.00am to 1.00pm & 1.00pm to 3.00pm*

* From 1.00pm - 3.00pm access is provided by volunteers from The Knowle Society. During this time customers can return, renew and loan library items.

Online services


  • Monday story time - held weekly from 10.30am to 11.00am. Free event, no need to book just come along (term time only)
  • The Reading Café - taking place monthly on Fridays from 10.30am to 11.30am. All are welcome to join our reading community, contact the library for dates
  • Poetry Group - discover the enjoyment there is in reading and discussing poetry. Monthly on a Tuesday; 11.00am - 12.00pm
  • Knit and Natter Group - meet monthly on Tuesdays from 10.30am to 11.30am
  • Knowle Readers Circle - meet monthly on Fridays 2.15pm
  • Knowle self run readers group - meet once a month on Tuesdays 11.00am. New members welcome
  • Knowle society - Knowle Society have regular displays in our gallery area and are available each Saturday morning for local history enquiries.
  • Scrabble Club - for adults runs weekly on Thursdays from 2.00pm
